Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the FreshTank mobile application, website, and services (collectively, the "Service") operated in India. By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering a binding contract under Indian law to use the Service.

2. Account & OTP

• An account is created using your mobile number and a one-time password sent over WhatsApp / SMS.
• You are responsible for keeping your device and OTP confidential.
• You must provide accurate and current information.

3. Booking and service delivery

• You can book a tank cleaning service by selecting tank type, capacity, optional add-ons, an address, and a date / time slot.
• Estimated service times shown in the app are approximate; actual time depends on tank condition.
• You must ensure the service location is accessible to the assigned crew at the chosen slot.
• If the tank cannot be drained in advance you can opt for the "Drain tanks before cleaning" add-on at the listed fee.

4. Pricing & payments

• All prices are displayed inclusive of taxes unless explicitly stated. GST is shown separately on the booking summary.
• Payment is processed via Razorpay before the booking is confirmed.
• Discounts via coupon codes apply only to eligible bookings and are subject to limits stated on the coupon.

5. Cancellation

• You may cancel a booking from the app before the assigned crew is dispatched ("En route" status).
• Once the crew is en route or on-site, cancellation must be requested via support and may be subject to a service charge.

6. User obligations

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.
• Misuse OTP, payment, or coupon mechanisms.
• Abuse, threaten, or harass any crew member; we reserve the right to terminate accounts that do.
• Reverse-engineer or copy the Service.

7. Crew & quality

Crew members are vetted technicians. We strive for high cleaning quality; if a service is unsatisfactory, contact us within 24 hours of the cleaning and we will inspect and re-do or refund per our policy.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, FreshTank's liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount paid for the specific booking giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for incidental damages such as loss of water, business interruption, or pre-existing tank defects.

9. Service area

We currently operate in select cities in India. Availability is shown by pincode at booking time. Bookings outside the serviceable area cannot be confirmed.

10. Intellectual property

The FreshTank name, logo, and app content are owned by us. You may not use them without prior written permission.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these Terms, fraud, or abusive behavior.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms; continued use after changes means acceptance.
